How much does an IVA cost?

When setting up an IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement) the only thing required is to pay the affordable monthly contribution that has been agreed with you. This payment is based on your individual circumstances and is set according to disposable income. To get an idea of your monthly disposable income use our Debt Calculator.

When initially consulting an Insolvency Practitioner about arranging an IVA to help clear debt problems, you should not be charged deposits or upfront payments. Usually, you do not commit to any fees until signing a letter of engagement and such fees will be deducted from contributions on a basis agreed with yourself and your creditors. The cost to yourself of an IVA should therefore only be the affordable monthly repayment which you will have to make for 60 months.

You should find an IVA company that will give impartial debt advice about Individual Voluntary Arrangements. How does an IVA clear my debt?

When you take out an IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement) your debt is cleared partly by you and partly by your creditors. Your monthly repayments will begin to pay off your debts. The remainder of the debt is written off by your creditors, including any fees that are paid to the company that arranges and supervises your IVA. If you stick to the terms in your IVA and keep up repayments, this is all you will have to pay.

Initial meetings or telephone conversations should be FREE. Contact debtsolve now for FREE advice about arranging an IVA and become debt free in roughly 60 months.
